Speed, split-second decisions and the drive to push limits. Those are the qualities every Can-Am rider knows, and they're the same ones that win matches in competitive gaming. This season, Can-Am joins Aris Limassol eSports as an official sponsor in Cyprus, with the Can-Am logo on the team's competition kit.
The partnership is delivered through Force 8 Sports, BRP's official distributor in Cyprus.
Two worlds, one mindset
At first glance, off-road vehicles and virtual football look like opposites. The team sees it differently.
"Both are driven by speed, precision, adrenaline, performance, and competition," says Marios Otman, Head of eSports Department at Aris Limassol eSports. "Whether someone is riding a high-performance Can-Am vehicle or competing in an intense eSports match, success requires concentration, fast reactions, confidence, and the ability to make the right decisions under pressure."
There's also a shared love of technology and innovation, the same things that go into every Can-Am Maverick, Outlander or Ryker.
The team behind the logo
A new chapter for a Limassol club
Aris Limassol eSports was founded in December 2025 as the club’s official eSports department. Its focus is UFL and FC 27, competing in three formats:
Clubs (11v11): each player controls one footballer and plays as part of a full team
1v1: individual head-to-head matches
Phygital: a mix of physical sport and gaming, where fitness counts as much as reaction time.
More than a logo
Can-Am will appear on team jerseys, live broadcasts, matchday graphics and the team's social channels. The team wants the partnership to go further than logo placement.
"Can-Am is a globally recognised powersports brand associated with performance, innovation, adventure, and pushing boundaries," Otman says. "We are proud to have a brand like Can-Am supporting our journey and helping us take Aris Limassol eSports to the next level."
From the screen to the trail?
Asked whether any of the players have ridden a Can-Am, or would like to, the team was clear: "We would certainly welcome the opportunity to organise a special Can-Am experience for our players." Otman sees it as a chance to bring powersports and eSports together in one experience, with the players, Can-Am vehicles and the Force 8 team.
A message for Can-Am fans
For riders who know the sound of an engine better than a virtual stadium, the team has an invitation: "Just as every ride offers a new adventure, every eSports match presents a new challenge. We invite all fans to follow our journey, support our players, and experience the adrenaline of competitive gaming alongside us."
