Key moments in our adventure

 

The date is 1937. The place is the small, hilly town of Valcourt, Quebec, Canada. Joseph-Armand Bombardier is granted a patent for the first ever vehicle that can travel on snow, developed in his garage, thanks to his determination and daring. 

In 1942, with the production of a second, larger vehicle, he founds his own company: L’Auto-Neige Bombardier Limitée. 

Over the years, J.-A. Bombardier refines his design, and launches the Ski-Doo in 1959. With this innovative product comes the birth of a new sport.

Fast forward to 2003. BRP becomes an independent company, maintaining the adventurous and innovative spirit of its founder. Still headquartered in Valcourt, Quebec, BRP has been enabling unforgettable experiences for our customers for decades through our impressive portfolio of products.

ІСТОРІЯ КОМПАНІЇ BRP

У 2003 році BRP стала незалежною компанією. Ми взяли з собою вражаючий портфель продуктів, які протягом багатьох років дарували нашим клієнтам незабутні враження.

У 1937 році Жозеф-Арман Бомбардьє отримує патент на перший в історії транспортний засіб, здатний пересуватися по снігу, який він розробив в своєму гаражі у Валькурі, Квебек, завдяки своїй цілеспрямованості й рішучості. За ним слідує друга, більша машина, і в 1942 році він засновує власну компанію - L'Auto-Neige Bombardier Limité. З роками Ж.-А. Бомбардьє удосконалює конструкцію свого винаходу і в 1959 році випускає на ринок перший снігохід Ski-Doo, вже оснащений двигуном Rotax. Цей інноваційний продукт створює новий вид спорту.   • 1998 - Bombardier виходить на ринок квадроциклів
  • 2001 – Придбання брендів Evinrude і Johnson
  • 2003 - Bombardier продає свій підрозділ продуктів для відпочинку; BRP офіційно стає незалежною компанією.
  • 2007 – Перший у промисловості триколісний транспортний засіб
  • 2010 - BRP виходить на ринок мотовсюдиходів
  • 2013 – Первинне публічне розміщення акцій BRP
