Randy Cabrera

Hooked on the Sea-Doo Life since his first ride back in 2001, Randy Cabrera of Tampa, Fla., has always been a bit of a “motor-head.” He was always interested in dirt bikes and ATVs, but growing up in the Sunshine State, it’s no wonder his true passion would be on the water.

Today, as a married father of six (five boys and one girl), Cabrera and his family spend every available minute on the water.

“We ride year-round almost every weekend,” says Cabrera. “On average we put 100+ hours per year on our Sea-Doo watercraft.”

That’s a whole lot of living the Sea-Doo Life!

Who makes up your typical riding crew? We ride with a diverse range of riders of all ages. There are days when we are out jumping waves in the Gulf of Mexico and other days when we are carving the winding Kissimmee River. My crew is ready to ride all the time in any area.

Favorite place to ride? I love riding in the Dunedin, Florida area and visiting places like Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island and the gorgeous Anclote North Sandbar.

Dream place to ride? So many amazing places I’d love to ride but one that is on my bucket list for the very near future is Lake Powell.

Describe your perfect day on the water: Perfect day on the water would be an early start with the family, ocean riding with flat water carving the coastline with stops at a few remote locations to film, eat and enjoy each other.

Describe your life away from the water: When we are not on the water, we are busy running our business and raising our big family. From after-school activities, sporting events and filming for our YouTube channel, we stay pretty active, but the water is always calling us!

What’s your one must-have accessory for your Sea-Doo? They’re all so awesome but if I had to pick one, the audio system completely changed the riding experience!

What’s one innovation you’d like to see on a Sea-Doo that doesn’t currently exist? Built in anchoring system, like a power pole.

Favorite place to eat? Home! My wife makes the best home cooked meals! Her lasagna is out of this world! Just ask anyone who’s had it. They will tell you…

First artist you add to your play list? Quinn – “New Wave,” but all of his music is great riding music.

Celebrity or person you’d most like to ride with? I’ve had the opportunity to ride with a few celebrities and music artists, but I think I’d love to ride and explore with Nicolas Cage.
