What is iBR technology?

Intelligent Brake & Reverse (iBR) is your Sea-Doo's on-water brake.

IBR also provides more intuitive, controlled operation at slow speeds. IBR-equipped craft starts in a neutral mode, the iBR system deflecting forward thrust just enough to keep the craft stationary. Riders can then choose to go into forward by pulling the traditional righthand throttle or choose from neutral or reverse by pulling the lefthand-mounted iBR lever. Never is a rider required to take a hand off the handlebars to reach for a console-mounted reverse lever and never are a rider’s eyes taken off the water and surroundings. Instead, the watercraft now has the intuitive feeling of a boat’s gears, making tasks like docking, backing away from the launch ramp or navigating a crowded marina simple and stress-free.
