Background
Troy Oleson was born and raised in the Northwoods of Wisconsin – home to good old fashioned Midwestern winters. The snow-drifted ditches are deep and the trails through trees are tight, but the beauty is often something to behold. Originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Oleson is a third-generation Ski-Doo rider who cut his teeth like most riders in this area of the snowbelt – with his grandfather at the age of five. Someone who enjoys the people of the sport almost more than the ride, you’ll always find a smile under his helmet and more than few miles clicked off his odometer.

Passion
I love to be on the water with my family in the summer either waterskiing or on the Sea-Doo and pontoon. I also enjoy training and racing triathlons.

Riding
Love a 200 mile plus day on the trail with a combination of freshly groomed trails as well as some really whooped out sections to keep pushing me to be a better rider. I also love to play out in the backcountry on my Summit.

One must-have item or accessory for every ride?
I have to pick two - Trail Performance grips and Lateral Footplates as accessory on my X-RS.

Normal Job
Global Projects Director in the Power Generation Industry.

Most fun on a sled ever
There is not one particular time, but one of my favorites is doing overnight trips where we will top 500 miles of riding. I have also had some pretty amazing days learning how to ride in the alpine over the past few years. Also, racing in the WSA National Sno-Cross circuit for more than 5 years was an amazing experience and I met some fantastic riders.

What does That Ski-Doo Feeling mean to you?
When I am out on my sled whether it is trail riding with my family or exploring in the mountains you can't wipe the smile off my face. It means getting out on the snow and enjoying places that you can’t necessarily get to any other time of year. It’s about exploring and seeing new places with my family and meeting new people on my Ski-Doo.
