Passion
During the winter months, I also like to snowboard, ski with the family, help out at my local grooming club and take avalanche classes. Avalanche education has been a big part of my life starting in the late 90’s. I’m constantly educating myself and helping others. Believe it or not, I love summer just as much as winter. There is nothing like being deep in the backcountry on a 75 degree day with a fishing pole, a tent and some good friends. I like to do just about anything as long as it involves being in the mountains.

Riding
I typically ride in northern Colorado from Winter Park to the Wyoming border. I moved to Grand County because there are so many riding areas so close. Without a doubt, riding trees is my favorite type of riding. I always find fresh snow, don’t see a single soul and its always challenging. If I had to pick a favorite place I’ve had  the chance to ride it would be BC. Its just incredible up there. Super steep and deep!

Gear
I’m a big fan of the Ski-Doo Helium gear. I switched over a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back. It amazes me how well it holds up after a season of riding trees.

Normal Job
From May to December, I run my construction company building custom homes in Grand County.
