Doo It Right: Clean and Protect

Your watercraft is an extension of you. It conveys a message whenever you hit the water. You want those head-turning looks to last a lifetime. Here’s our quick guide – from hull to handlebars – to help keep your watercraft looking its very best every time you show up at the launch.

All the products you’ll find listed below are safe to use on the Acrylic and Thermofil finishes of your Sea-Doo watercraft.

Hull cleaning and protection

If the boat was stored in water for long periods of time, heavy scum, algae, waterlines and rust can make for an unsightly scene when trailering or putting your watercraft on a lift. The steps and XPS care products outlined here will not only remove those stains and restore your watercraft to showroom caliber looks, they’ll also help protect the surfaces below the waterline long term and avoid nasty stains altogether.

The toughest stains and grime may require a full wash with XPS Sea-Doo Hull Cleaner. It’s important to follow product instructions carefully. Always wear gloves and protective eyewear when using this product. If your watercraft is stored on a trailer or rack, be sure to protect it from the product before cleaning. XPS Sea-Doo Hull Cleaner is specifically formulated for the unique finish of your Sea-Doo hull. Here’s how it works:

1- Spray Sea-Doo Hull Cleaner directly on hull.
2- Wait 2-4 minutes to allow product to work.
3- Scrub treated area with a brush.
4- Immediately rinse thoroughly with water, ideally with a pressure washer.
