Round 7: South African Cross-Country Series - Parys 400

Parys 400

South African Cross-Country Series

The seventh and last round of the South African Cross Country Series this season was held in Parys, Free State.  Dust, Sand and Rocks couldn't stop them all.

Nasser Al-Attiya and his navigator Mathieu Baumel, four times winner of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies, and a triple 2011, 2015 and 2019 Dakar Rally winner, was also competing in the race in a Toyota DKR Hilux T1+, to test the new vehicle and sign some autographs for avid fanatics.

Once again the G-Class (Side-by-Side class) was dominated with only Can-Am Mavericks in the race.  Not all were able to finish due to harsh elements, but that didn't stop Peter Walter and his navigator Shaun de Villiers from completing the race and taking the win in the G-Class and 19th overall.
