American racing Austin Jones and his Brazilian co-pilot Gustavo Gugelmin have increased his overall lead in the SSV category, and took a second place in stage 9, trailing behind the Poles, Marek Goczal and Lukasz Laskawiec.

The short distance of 491km was covered quickly and almost easily by the competitors in light of another long 759 km in stage 10 tomorrow.
