In another 830km, or Stage 8 of Dakar 2022, Polish drivers, Marek Goczal and Lukasz Laskawiec of Cobant-Energy landia Rally Team has taken yet another stage home.  In second place team mate and brother of Marek, Michal Goczal and co-pilot Szymon Gospodarcyk came in second place, pushing the American driver Austin Jones and his Brazilian co-pilot Gustavo Gugelmin of Can-Am Factory South Racing to third place.

As the drivers settle into the 2nd half of the 2022 Dakar Rally, the pressure mounts on American racer Austin Jones of Can-Am Factory South Racing to increase his lead over teammate Gerrard Farres Guell (ESP), co-pilot Diego Ortega Gil (ESP).
