BRP has announced a major leadership change that will shape its future. Denis Le Vot will become President and Chief Executive Officer of BRP on 1 February 2026. He will succeed José Boisjoli, who is retiring after more than two decades leading the company.
Denis Le Vot brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in the automotive industry to BRP. He has held senior roles in global companies, where he led sales, operations, and strategic planning. His track record shows strong performance in building brands and managing international dealer networks.
Le Vot has a solid engineering background and holds a degree from École des Mines de Paris in France. He began his career at Renault Group in 1990 and progressed through leadership positions in marketing, sales, and operations across multiple regions around the world.
His recent roles included Senior Vice President and CEO of Dacia, where he led brand development and strategic initiatives. He also served as a senior executive with Nissan North America and at other Renault regional leadership roles.
At BRP, Le Vot will join the Board of Directors in addition to his CEO role. The company also confirmed changes to its board leadership. Pierre Beaudoin will become Board Chair, and Barbara Samardzich will continue as Lead Independent Director.
Le Vot spoke about his appointment with enthusiasm. He said he feels honoured by the trust the Board placed in him. He expressed excitement about leading BRP into its next chapter. He noted BRP’s strong market position, bold design vision, and powerful products. He said those strengths set the company up for growth and continued leadership in powersports.
Board members also welcomed the transition. Barbara Samardzich said the Board expects Le Vot’s experience to drive long‑term growth. She highlighted how his background in global markets will help expand value for customers and dealers.
José Boisjoli, BRP’s outgoing CEO, leaves behind a remarkable legacy. He spent 36 years with BRP, including 22 as President and CEO. Under his leadership, BRP transformed into a global powerhouse in powersports. His vision helped expand product lines and grow the company’s worldwide reach.
Boisjoli said he feels proud of BRP’s achievements and confident in its future. He congratulated Le Vot and said the company is well positioned to continue pushing boundaries.
